Each year the various teams and community members across South Africa get together to celebrate another successful year of weekly training with Parkour South Africa.
This event is open to ALL, no matter whether you've been to a weekend event yet or not, and will involve a short training session plus a social gathering to get to know each othr better. (Braai, etc)
The date so far is set for Dec 20th and 21st, and the location is yet to be confirmed although very likely to be in either Johannesburg or Pretoria.
To make sure you are up-to-date on when it's happening, keep checking back here and following the thread in our forum: PKSA YEAR END EVENT
You can also keep updated via our new mobile website: M.PARKOUR.CO.ZA
Posted by DC at 05:30 ( Click the image above to be taken directly to the Goodies Page) Many of you may have not seen last year's wallpaper competition entries. Here's your chance to pick a favourite (or two) and download them to your desktop.
If you've made a parkour-related wallpaper recently, then let us know at info@parkour.co.za and we'll host it up for others to see.
Posted by DC at 01:25For anyone interested in picking up a pair (or two) of K-swiss Ariake Shoes for R500, make sure to e-mail: thiyanee@kswiss.co.za
Let them know you've been referred by Parkour South Africa and you should be on your way.
If you don't know what Ariakes are, check out the review done by members of PKSA by clicking THIS LINK.
They have limited stock, so don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. If you are really keen to grab a pair, then do so asap. (I have a sneaky suspicion you won't be finding them again very soon once they are sold out....)

The sequel to Banlieue 13, starring Cyril and David Belle, is set to hit the big screens in early 2009. Entitled: Bourne, I mean, Banlieue 13 ... ULTIMATUM. (Who decided on that name???) There are quite a few short snippets and behind the scenes footage available online already and here are a few links for you to check out:
Enjoy
Posted by DC at 19:53 Our popular Goodies page has been updated with a brand new 2D BETA version of Mirror's Edge. The only problem is the developer's server that's hosting the game is a bit swamped with everyone across the gobe trying it out. So be patient. It's fun and worth the wait to load.
We have also added a direct PKSA link to download one of the best parkour flash animations ever made - Gameyy's 2004 La Liberte.
So check out our Goodies Page and if you find anything online that you'd want to see added onto it or have any suggestions, then get in touch with us at info@parkour.co.za or over in the forums.
See ya...
