You probably read about this PSP title and seen some screenshots in the past, but like us all never took it serious due to the fact that it was never had a release date set.
Well, it will finally be released on the 16th of March. For those who don't know, the game has been developed by CORE, the same company responsible for Tomb Raider. Here are a couple of trailers.
February 20th, 2007Another Free Running action movie? Posted by B.I.G at 00:52
New Line Cinema is fast-tracking an untitled action film about a New York cop who must infiltrate a gang of free running bank robbers.
The renegade cop will be played by up-and-coming actor Channing Tatum, who may have a girl’s name, but has proved, in projects like Coach Carter and A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints, that he has acting chops to go with the prerequisite tough guy’s jutting jaw.
February 16th, 2007Men's Health Advertorial Shoot - Casting Call Posted by B.I.G at 02:21
Men's Health is looking to shoot a Levi's advertorial shoot.
They need 3 guys who ideally are experienced in the art of parkour. The are looking for about 25 year old guys, not really any younger, with a funky edge.
As it is an advertorial they will only be shooting for about 2 hours. Their model rate is R650 for a half day and they would like to start early, about 8am.
They need to know as soon as possible who would be interested and their respective sizes and descriptions of each of the guys. A great oppurtunity for you Capetonians, although the call is open to all.
If you are interested, please contact Jane McNamara as soon as possible
Any queries, please give her a shout!

February 15th, 2007South Africa - Take note Posted by DC at 08:12
This video was picked up by forum member GuiCo, and I think it is something that everyone in SA ought to be looking towards for inspiration in their current training regime.
Sometimes people get to caught up in single moves, jumping the "biggest" gap or longest "kong" ... when what you really should be doing is building up your basic body strength and general conditioning. This will ensure a much longer, safer parkour journey, plus you will see the overall benefits in your general parkour skills.
Slow steady basic techniques are all you require, but most of all ... it will require lots of repetition and patience. Things like this don't happen in 30 minutes, there's no such thing as a short cut.
Start with setting up a program for yourself. Set small goals and then build up over time.
Here's a challenge for all of you: Set aside the next 6 months for yourself to train on basic strength and conditioning. Focus hard and you will succeed!
