Posted by DC at 04:27 … and they begin to follow. A computer game to hit the market which features Parkour. So it seems that the so-called "online-traceur" phenomena will continue to breed. You know …. those guys who SAY they practise parkour, but in reality do a lot more talking than running. ;-)
It's not to say that some of these games have the potential to be quite interesting, it's just that there are far too many people jumping aboard and creating a game whithout really knowing themselves what parkour is. Then they go and make a game with flips and twists and turns, and before you know it, those who eventually go and try their hand at it will be learning the wrong thing.
Check out the feature for yourself: Downtown Dash
Posted by DC at 10:30 If so, then now is your chance to have as much chance of that being answered as anyone else! But hurry because all the questions will be submitted to him on the 12th August.
Parkour.NET have started a thread on their website openly inviting anyone to post a question to David, with the following conditions:
"Before posting please keep the following things in mind : _Try not to ask a similar question or an already asked one.
_I won't take any "what does david eat for breakfast" or "what toothpaste does he use" type of questions.
_Think
twice before asking something. I don't want anyone to post a full list
of questions, specialy if they are all nearly the same. A maximum of 3,
well thought out questions per person seems good to me.
_I won't
transmit EVERY question. I'll make a selection, and David will have the
freedom of choice between all those questions. That doesn't mean you
can only ask the "ordinary" questions. I just want you to think before
posting, and take the time to find the right words to build your
questions. This will help me out in my task. "
If you would like Parkour SA to submit a question on your behalf then make your way to our THREAD, and let's collect all your questions!
Happy posting... :-)
