Training Shoes

Need a new pair of shoes but not sure which ones to buy? Have you tried out new shoes and have something to say about them?

Don't fret with ariakes. As a runner, you will find better results from new balance shoes and your solomons. :-)

I've become a HUGE fan of new balance over the ariakes, mostly due to it's double nature of being a decent running / pk shoe!

I found a greta pair of shoes the other day, not too expensive either, they're called Adidas Duramo 2.

They have great grip and are really light, only problem is the thick sole, which can lead you to think your technique is perfect, when it actually isn't. :o

Yup.. But that's not too much of a problem. Just train barefoot now and then. xD
I try and train barefoot as much as possible.

What shoes do you wear? I never thought to look...oh and I sometimes train without shoes but I'm afraid of hitting my toes when I'm vaulting and dropping.

I actually have those shoes on my feet right now. Looks are deceiving, and these shoes are nothing like you would expect them to be from looking at them, and by that I mean I love them. Gear and I actually took them for a spin in the rain and that cleared up any questions I had about the grip.

Interesting, I always thought walking barefoot promoted flat feet.

anyone want to venture a guess as to whether or not "seasky" and "brayantobbe", the two people who posted just above Scyth, are in fact real or spam bots....?

I have come across a number of "relevant" postings by bots recently. very sneaky. most of them usually make little to no sense and have a signature with a link to a random website.

Have a look around next time you're on the forums and click on the flag/report button to mark them so the mods can check it out.

I think those are real. There were some spambots though, those were there to advertise some kak products on dodgy websites.
These are my walls
Skyward in height, stone in might
And I know they will fall
Hand and Foot,Leap and Bound
So the echoes of my footfalls resound
Stonger with step, Higher with leap
So the beats of heart are bound
These are my walls
And they too will fall

I find the bots tend to have their location set to somewhere random :)

but yea those are pretty relevant posts!
