my only concern is that you are changing your center of gravity and in so doing training your muscle memory acording to the weights any takes on this

If you have a weighted backpack on it will definitely change your center of gravity, so training with something like that will affect the way you perform the technique, but if its on your body, tight like a second skin, weights, sorta like the ankle, wrist and body vests you get, it shouldnt change it

i differ try balansing with just weights on your wrist the weights will lower your center of gravity also on your ancles the only way i see it working is if you increase the weight all over proportionatly or just stick to simle motions any body want to help me on testing my theory?

it can assist your training, but take it easy and pack on the grams slowly. no point in adding a 20kg vest on right from the start!!!

i recently did some work with the police and had to don their weighted protection vest.

12Kg. It changed my whole balance, and by the end of the long session, my legs were dead.

Again, if this is something you want to do ... pack it on slowly. work your way up one week at a time.

case and point... as we all know the importance of muscle memory id advise this to be done intermittently and only if its going to be goal orientated like increasing the range of your precisions or your pop-vaults
but i could not see any benefit from constantly training with the kitchen sink strapped to your hiney

I was thinking about this the other day, training with weights on. but now after i read about all this muscle memory and centred weight and stuff, it sounds like you shouldnt do it too much.

but isnt there something maybe like a material which is quite heavy, but which could be made into clothing, so that it doesnt change your muscle memory or centre of balance.then you can easily train with it, more often...? ? ?

guys these methods are not there to be used for 100% of your training. Its there to supplement it. ie be an addition not the focus or your training.

train safe, train smart, train hard
